Yearly Hispanic Courses
The full academic year Hispanic Studies Program is a special course for students with advanced levels of Spanish that runs from October to the end of May every year.
All students must take a placement test at the beginning of the course. Students who pass the grammar exams, at least 8 out of 12 classes, and who assist at 90% of the classes will receive a diploma of Hispanic Studies from Salamanca University.
For the first term, Spanish Grammar is an obligatory subject. Apart from this obligatory subject, a further 3 (if doing a total of 4 classes per day) or 4 (if you've chosen the 5 classes per day option) must be chosen from the list of possibilities.
For the second term there are 3 closed or obligatory subjects (Spanish Grammar, Latinoamerican Literature, History of Spain). As the second term only offers the 5 classes per day modality (for the first term it was possible to choose between 4 or 5 classes per day), there are 2 open subjects to be chosen from the list.
